Six Bathroom Organizing Mistakes to Skip

Six Bathroom Organizing Mistakes to Skip

Expired creams, humid medicines and bottomless makeup bags: the six habits behind every messy bathroom.

Most bathroom clutter comes from six habits. Storing medicines in humid air ruins them; keeping every hotel miniature doubles the mess; and a makeup bag with no bottom means daily avalanches.

Fix the big three first: move medicines to a cool drawer, decant products you actually use, and give cotton pads and swabs lidded jars so they stop shedding.

Then edit ruthlessly. Anything expired, separated, or untouched for a year leaves the house. Bathrooms stay tidy only when less lives in them.
